1. Call to Order

2. Open Reports
Birmingham Police Department – N/A
Birmingham Fire Department – Michael J. Riggs gave an update from the Fire Dept. Spoke about the importance of changing out batteries in smoke detectors, as well as other work the Dept. will do around town.
CAP Officers –N/A
Public Works – Anthony from Public Works gave an update. Public Works now over Animal Control for the City. Call 311 if a non-emergency. Public Works is still looking for a full time Central City officer, Call Anthony for now with any issues #254-2061.
Space OneEleven –N/A
3. CCNA Funds: After payment of the $3,400 approved by CCNA in January 2014 for benches on 2nd Avenue, the Capital fund will be $0.
After payment of $1,000 to Sojourns for the Street Fair, as approved at the March
2014 meeting, payment of $1,000 for the CCNA/Park Place Apartments Fun
Day, approved at the May meeting, and payment of $2,000 for Art Walk as
approved at the July 2014 meeting, the Non-cap fund will be $3,289.24.
At this time, we still only get $2,000 per year from the City.
4. Old Business: No Old Business
5. New Business: Jefferson County Circuit Judge, Clyde E. Jones, spoke about his re-election campaign for 2016. Judge Jones has been on the criminal bench for 13 years now and is looking forward to our support in 2016. He will hold an event on May 7th, 2015 5 pm -7pm @ The Wine Loft to kick off his campaign.
