1. Call to Order
Adoption of Agenda –Agenda Approved
Approval of March 17, 2015 Minutes –Minutes Approved

2. Open Reports
Birmingham Police Department – Officer Doss present to take questions. Issues were raised regarding illegal parking in the allies. Also issues regarding access in and out of the Park Place Community on the Saturday of Magic City Classic Weekend
Birmingham Fire Department
CAP Officers
Public Works – Anthony Henry present to take questions. Issue regarding illegal parking in the allies was raised to Anthony as well and a suggestion of more “no parking” signs was made. Anthony provided Public Works main number 254-2000 and his number 254-2061

3. CCNA Funds: After payment of the $3,400 approved by CCNA in January 2014 for benches on 2nd Avenue, the Capital fund will be $0.
After payment of $1,000 to Sojourns for the Street Fair, as approved at the March
2014 meeting, payment of $1,000 for the CCNA/Park Place Apartments Fun
Day, approved at the May 2014 meeting, and payment of $2,000 for Art Walk as
approved at the July 2014 meeting, the Non-cap fund will be $3,289.24.
At this time, we still only get $2,000 per year from the City.

5. New Business: Liquor License Request – Mamanoes – Address 2301 2nd Ave. N
Owner: Antonio Boyd to present concept and plans. In general this will allow him to have liquor tastings as well as sell bottles of liquor to guest if desired.
-Antonio Boyd presented and answered questions. Vote was taken, 8 Approve, 1 Oppose, 1 No Recommendation. License Request was approved.

6. Announcements: 2015 CCNA meeting dates and locations:
April 21st – Linn-Henley Library, Richard Arrington, Jr. Auditorium
May 19th – Main Downtown Library, Story Castle Room
June 16th – Linn-Henley Library, Richard Arrington, Jr. Auditorium
July 21st – Main Downtown Library, Story Castle Room
August 18th – Linn-Henley Library, Richard Arrington, Jr. Auditorium
September 15th – Main Downtown Library, Story Castle Room
October 20th – Linn-Henley Library, Richard Arrington, Jr. Auditorium
November 17th – Main Downtown Library, Story Castle Room

AL DOT Public Hearing Thursday 23rd at Fountain Heights Rec. Center. 4-7 p.m.
