1. Call to Order

Approval of June 16th, 2015 Minutes –Approved
2. Open Reports
Birmingham Police Department -Officer Doss gave an update on crime and other police issues in the area, and was available for questions.
Birmingham Fire Department –Representatives from Fire Station 1 gave an update and were available for questions.
Public Works –Inspector Wilder gave an update and was available for questions.
REV Birmingham –Robert Emerick was available for questions.
City Council –Councilman Austin gave an update on the City budget process and on other general City business.
3. CCNA Funds: Current Funds Balance: $7,901.07 (as of 7-16-2015 Gregory Jones, CCNA CRO.)
At this time, we still only get $2,000 per year from the City. This $2,000.00 is still pending for this year’s current budget. –Richard Burton gave an update in CCNA funds.
4. Old Business: N/A
5. New Business: New/Pending direction from the City of Birmingham, Law Dept. on how CCNA funds can be spent. –Richard Burton gave an update on new/pending direction from the City Law Dept. concerning how CCNA funds can be spent. There was an open discussion regarding the issue and a reading of the letter sent from Assistant City Attorney, Tracy L. Roberts.
Darrell O’Quinn gave a brief introduction of the Community Advisory Board and its function within the City. He also gave a brief introduction to the group Move2059, Inc. and their work on trying to relocate I 20/59.
